Passed passed passed!!!

Praise the Lord I am officially FINISHED with the Praxis II tests! Now I can cross one more thing from my 101 in 1001 days challenge!!

Praxis.. Schmaxis: Part Deux.

HOPEFULLY, these are the last two Praxis II tests I will ever have to take! *wipes brow*

I feel very confident about the concepts and processes because it's all about teaching my craft, and I can do that.
The PLT is a little trickier for me- although after a good study session last night, I feel a lot more confident and just pray that I find the wisdom and words to write what I know I already know! You know?

Praxis.. Schmaxis!

 I PASSED!

So.. I can now officially check two of the four Praxis II series tests off of my 101 in 1001 challenge, because I PASSED baby! I already knew that I rocked the test from 11/3/09, but I just found out that I passed the Music Content Knowledge and Music Analysis from the Praxis II series from 1/12/09. Actually.. I kinda killed the Music Analysis portion.  

From the detailed score sheet, I saw that I only missed two points out of a total of 100- which kinda makes me really happy. I was worried about Content Knowledge just because just about anything under the sun that is music related can be on that test. I did okay, but I think if I took it a second time, I could rock it, too.

Anyhoodle, thanks for sharing in my excitement! I am over-the-moon right now. There are only two more tests left to take for the Praxis II, and I take them on March 13th. One is the PLT and the other is Musical Concepts and Processes (to do with teaching).

We have a snow day today, and I have done absolutely nothing, so I'm going to jog on the treadmill and then get cleaned up and go to the mall to use a few gift cards before they expire!

Praxis Shmaxis...

Seriously though.I am not looking forward to waking up at 5:00am on a cold (below zero Fahrenheit) Saturday morning to go and take a vicious, three hour long, test.

I smite you oh mighty tester.... er.

Maybe it won't be so bad? I'll tell you tomorrow! (if I make it)

*Praxis I passed: check!
*Senior Recital: check!

*Big scary stuff out of the way: check!

I feel so completely free right now. The recital was fun- I had tons of family and friends there to support me. I am indeed blessed.

Now, there are only a few things left on my agenda:

-two history tests

-one last adv. comp paper

-fingerprints/background check for student teaching

-maybe a technique jury?

Seriously, relief! I am so excited about student teaching, it is unreal!

Most of all, I really want to go pick-up my treadmill! I have been so into yoga the last few months and am getting excited about getting into great physical shape.
